Andrew Dickens, AIF®, CExP™, CBVS™

Director of Pension Services & Wealth Advisor

Andrew started his financial services career in 2008 with a small firm in Maitland, FL. From there, he received his Series 6 and state insurance licenses before migrating to a much larger firm also located in Maitland.

By 2009 Andrew was firmly established at the larger firm and later went on to earn his Series 7 and Series 66. Andrew built a practice around a core of investment clients, and he specialized in comprehensive medical care planning. This firm was one of the largest providers of long-term care insurance and 401(k) contracts in the country. Andrew began to focus his education and technical skills on the corporate retirement plan market.

By the end of 2013, Andrew had decided that he could best serve his clients by working solely as a fiduciary financial planner. In January 2014, he joined Summit Wealth Partners and Summit Asset Protection Group. He acquired his Series 65 and is currently the Director of Pension Services at Summit Wealth Partners. He is also the Managing Agent of Summit Asset Protection Group.

An authority on defined contribution planning and ERISA fiduciary matters.

In 2015 Andrew wrote the acclaimed book “Rescued! 401k Plan Traps Business Owners Must Avoid and Fix” as a comprehensive guide and resource for anyone managing a 401k plan for a business. Widely known in the industry as an authority on defined contribution planning and Employment Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) fiduciary matters, he’s spoken at numerous industry events.

Today Andrew primarily works with private wealth clients and closely-held business owners. He provides multi-faceted financial guidance from retirement plan management at the corporate level to business succession planning and private wealth management.

A native Floridian, Andrew was born and raised on the east coast. He and his wife Thelma live in Debary with their two daughters, Ariel and Keira. He enjoys flying airplanes, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and spending time with his friends and family. On the weekends, you can find Andrew enjoying the great outdoors with some good ole Southern BBQ.
