Senior Relationship Manager
Amanda Pate, CFP® has been a Summit team member since early 2014 and has since transitioned to a remote role based out of Arizona in 2020. Prior to joining Summit Wealth Partners, she spent several years with a large corporate bank serving in a variety of roles in the wealth management segment from banking services to trust administration. Her knowledge and attributes make her an asset to the Summit team, ensuring operational efficiency through technology and superior client service. Amanda works alongside the Senior Wealth Advisors in the development of financial plans, implementing trade requests and rebalancing, as well as reporting.
She values the relationships she has developed with clients over the years, celebrating life’s events as if they were family. She enjoys customizing financial plans to fit each unique individual client, so that they can make great financial decisions in the present and for the future. Amanda believes that there is no better time than the present to live life to the fullest, while also keeping future plans and needs in mind.
While at Florida State University, Amanda earned her B.S. degree and was a member of the Seminoles’ cheerleading team. Following FSU, she earned a Master’s Degree in Management/Human Resources Management from Florida Institute of Technology. Amanda earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from FSU and has successfully met the CFP Board’s rigorous standards to obtain the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
Together with her husband, they have traveled to over 18 countries; enjoy offshore fishing and participating in the occasional Steel Challenge Match at the local pistol and rifle club. Their next big adventure is welcoming their first child in early 2021. Prior to relocating to Arizona, she was an active member of The Junior League of Greater Orlando and was awarded Provisional Member of the Year for 2017-2018.

Summit Social Security Snippets
To obtain Social Security credits, the Social Security Administration reviews at the amount of money you earn from work on which you have paid Social Security payroll tax. You must work for at least ten years and earn a minimum of 40 credits. The earnings amount needed per credit in 2018 is $1320, and four is the maximum number of credits you can earn in one year.
