Jeff is a seasoned financial advisor with over 30 years of experience advising high net worth individuals and institutional accounts.  This long term experience has helped him successfully advise clients through the inevitable ups and downs of the market. 

His work primarily focuses on advising high net worth families on issues that affect the comprehensive, tax-smart management of their wealth. As a Senior Wealth Advisor with Summit Wealth Partners, his belief in a rapidly changing investment environment motivates him to create substantial value for clients by investing to maximally profit from innovative, disruptive technologies.

A twice-published author, Jeff specializes in legacy planning and the effective transition of first generation wealth to subsequent generations and to charity.  His book How to Pass Your Wisdom Before You Pass Your Wealth is about this topic.  His second book, Stacking the Odds to Win the Loser’s Game, helps investors of every age to quickly build and benefit from financial literacy. 

As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA®), Jeff has adroitly advised plan sponsors and investment committees for corporate retirement plans, foundations and endowments.  He also works closely with investment committees to design, implement, and monitor appropriate investment policy statements and to responsibly discharge their fiduciary obligation to their respective stakeholders.

His professional credentials underscore his commitment to life-long learning.  Jeff is a Certified Financial Planner™ or CFP® professional. His credentials also include Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA®), Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®), as well as Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) and Licensed Insurance Counselor (LIC). Jeffrey is also board certified in Estate Planning (BCE), mutual funds (BCM), and asset allocation (BCAA) and has been trained as a Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI) to train people in financial literacy.  He was the first financial advisor in the United State to obtain his certificate in Blockchain and Digital Assets, issued by the Digital Asset Council of Financial Professionals (DACFP).  Jeff holds a designation as a Certified Digital Asset Advisor (CDAA) and has received his Digital Assets course certificate from Nasdaq Advisor Academy.

Jeffrey earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Theology from Hyles-Anderson College and a Master’s degree in Financial Services from the Institute of Business and Finance in La Jolla, California.

A devoted family man, Jeffrey and his wife Kristen live in Naples, Florida and are proud of their 4 children located in different states.  They attend Naples Covenant Church and voluntarily lead a Bible study small group, where they enjoy studying and discussing spiritual matters. They enjoy boating, golfing, reading, movies, psychology, home improvement projects, and taking long walks together.  Jeff also enjoys investment research; particularly in the area of technology and is proud to have been affiliated with Summit Wealth Partners since 2014.
