Shari has nearly 30 years of experience in the financial industry and has been a member of the Summit Wealth Partners team since Spring of 2020. Her experience began during high school, continued through college summers, and then full time while working with her mom, Valerie, one of the leading financial advisors in her time.
During her time in the financial industry, Shari has received the following credentials: Registered Para-planner through the College of Financial Planning, life, health, variable insurance licenses, Series 7, 63, 65, and a Certified Senior Advisor Designation. Shari has also completed her Behavioral Finance designation and is a current candidate for her Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) through the American College of Financial Services.

Shari actively participates in many organizations that are centered on both women and seniors: Greater Grand Rapids Women Who Care, Inforum, WISE, West MI Women’s Magazine, Advocates for Senior Issues, and Women & Wealth, which she created and hosts monthly to provide an unintimidating platform for women to learn, ask questions and receiving financial planning advice on their current investments and employer benefits.

Shari and her husband Todd, of 18 years, currently reside in Ada, Michigan. They have two children together, Ana Rose and Joshua. Her daughter is almost 21 and attending college at the University of Kentucky in Lexington and studying Fashion Merchandising. Shari’s son, Joshua, is 14 years old, in the 8th grade. He is a AAA hockey player, which gives them many opportunities to travel and see new cities while watching him play. Their blended family brought two amazing step-daughters, a son-in-law and their granddaughter, Hayden, age 5.
